The Rock redefines what a car park can be. Standing at the entrance of Nirlon Knowledge Park in Mumbai, this multi-level structure was designed as a vertical park — a place where the transition from driver to pedestrian is marked not by concrete ramps, but by stairways wrapped in trees and creepers. Pause points along the staircase create informal meeting spots, turning a functional journey into a human one. With 99 trees and flowering shrubs that attract bees and butterflies, The Rock is as much a living ecosystem as it is infrastructure
— proof that utility and nature need not be separate ambitions.
