This hospital, one of the oldest in the town, faced challenges due to disorganized spaces and inefficient vehicular circulation, leading to underutilized areas. Our design approach began by taking a step back to thoroughly analyze the overall flow of patients, visitors, and staff. We focused on their current and future needs to ensure that the proposed design would not only meet today’s demands but also be prepared for future growth.

Our first priority was to create well-organized, accessible pedestrian routes throughout the campus. This provided the foundation to introduce designated outdoor waiting areas, offering a more comfortable and functional environment. We also incorporated the concept of healing gardens, where patients can experience the outdoors and connect with nature as part of their recovery journey. This thoughtful integration of nature into the hospital's design helps create a calming atmosphere, supporting both physical and mental healing.
