Banyan Club, Alembic City

At the heart of Alembic City in Vadodara, the Banyan Club is shaped by one defining presence — a majestic banyan tree that lends the space its name and its soul. A linear, compact site is planned with staggered, sequential spaces that unfold as a series of experiences rather than a single view. Seating areas with swings, a children's play zone, and a swimming pool nestled alongside the banyan's aerial roots all sit comfortably beneath the existing canopy. Nothing competes with the tree — everything is arranged around it. The result is a clubhouse that feels less designed and more discovered.
