At the heart of the Alembic Corporate Tower lies a seamless integration of lush landscaping, designed to elevate aesthetics, foster a connection with nature, and promote a healthier, more vibrant work environment. Thoughtfully placed landscape features surround the tower, creating distinct zones for vehicular and pedestrian traffic, enhancing both safety and convenience.
At the upper levels, we incorporated expansive decks and cascading, stepped terraces that flow down from the tower, forming a dynamic amphitheatre. This multifunctional space serves as an inviting area for events, presentations, and performances, with tiered seating offering uninterrupted views. The terraces also house a variety of additional features, including children’s play areas and parking for food trucks, ensuring a lively, engaging atmosphere.
The uppermost terraces, directly accessible from the corporate crèche, cater to outdoor dining, cafes, and a food court, creating a vibrant community space. This tiered design creates the effect of a dual-level park: one enveloping the tower, and another extending down to the lower level, along the tranquil canal.
Sustainability is at the core of the design, with energy-efficient lighting systems and rainwater harvesting for landscape irrigation integrated throughout. Native planting is utilised to mitigate the urban heat island effect, ensuring the project remains environmentally responsible whilst offering a thriving, green space for the corporate community.
Concise Version:
The Alembic Corporate Tower integrates lush landscaping throughout its design to foster a healthy, nature-connected work environment. The landscape design includes stepped terraces cascading from the tower, forming an amphitheater and gathering space with unobstructed views for events and performances. These terraces, along with upper-level decks, host outdoor dining, food courts, children’s play areas, and more, creating a two-layered park that extends down to the canal. Sustainable design features, such as energy-efficient lighting, rainwater harvesting for irrigation, and native planting, mitigate the urban heat island effect, balancing functionality and environmental responsibility.
